@ clubhouse19 -  I'm a concerned citizen wondering why the Ottawa police are reacting  unprofessionally.  Are the Ottawa police poorly trained?

I have many concerns but I don't post them on a bombardier board.

Buddy , hoking the horn IS ILLEGAL  if it isn't an emergency ( I know this because I tried to fight it in court and lost)... yelling and cursing at a cop is never good ... being around and disobeying the law when there is massive tension in town ( trucker occupation) can never end well ...I hope this  doesn't  start looking like the  BLM  that decided to break ...more

@ bicente - The Ottawa police are supposed to deescalate incidents.  Not escalate them.  You'll notice that the young officer agressively arrests the elderly man when there was no need to do it.  All the officer had to do was hand him a ticket.  No need for the officer to respond the way he did.  It's poor training on the part of the Ottawa police department to ...more

@ bicente - Further, as to the tensions in Ottawa.  That is Justin's fault.  He should have met with the truckers.  Instead he went into hiding.  Going into hiding is not leadership.   I hope it doesn't spread either but the Coutts, Alberta border crossing is blockaded, the Ambassador bridge is blockage and it's spreading around the world.   ...more

I agree it is Trudope's fault , he is a coward. He has no problem telling other leaders how they should handle their business but he has no clue how to deal with anything related to Canada. He can't even answer simple questions with a yes or no .  All he can do is apologize and  give money away . He gives us back our own money and thinks he is doing us a favor , all the while ...more

the one who escalated everything is the guy passing by , he caused all the problems , like usual... I have friends in the police force and nothing is worse than an idiot who knows nothing about the intervention but decides to walk up to cops shooting his mouth off with cell pohone in hand . One of my cop friends who didn't take the oncoming threat seriously got suckerpunched , just because he ...more

What is concern with the truckers ?? they don't want to be vaccinated ?? BTW..they wouldn't be allowed into the US.  Who's freedom are you talking about ??   You can't smoke in restaurants.  You need a driver's license you need insurance you need snow tires you have to wear a seatbelt you need to be vaccinated for other diseases. You have to pay costly ...more

@ clubhouse19 - If the truckers - and countless other Canadians - win the standoff then Bombardier shareholders win. Travel mandates have a chilling effect on transportation stocks.  Airline companies for example are reluctant to place orders for new airplanes when their passanger loads decline.  Instead they cut routes to conserve cash.  Bombardier's stock price has been under ...more

I do not necessarly agree with that. the need for private jets could easily be fuelled by the covid crisis. getting rid of mandates may not be in the Bomber's bets interest, and it certainly not in the best interests of my friend with pancreaic cancer who could eaily miss out on the rest of her life because some covidiot refeused to wear a mask buying milk

@ CanInf - Hospitals are filling to 95% capacity all the time - regardless of covid.  That's the way they've been designed to operate.  So perhaps, governments could have built some new hospitals to ease capacity concerns instead of giving away the billions of dollars for people to stay home from work.
