Big deal, isn't it!

Johnney take a few minutes to read Starsearcher's  analysis you will understand that you must be patient, this patience will pay off big time( big bucks). We are close to the apotheosis where we will reap the ripe fruits of our investment. I can understand your impatience, your frustration with Bombardier, but you have to believe, we are close.

Inuk, just to follow up on your thought, I absolutely consider us to be close to that astonishing ramp-up in share price.  To me, "close" means  "starting now and continuing for the next 6 months."  I'm sure there will be further gains past that point.  I'm just looking to catch the biggest bulk of the rise, which I think will happen easily within ...more

Inuk138, right, I have to be patient more time, especially in my case! Didn't buy after the R/S, cause I have enough money put in that company!

Star I'm looking 6 to 18 monts max before seeing SP at $100.00 to $125.00 if everything is aligned.  We need at least two good Qs in 2023.

Inuk, I agree with you on the share price, but do think the timeframe will be much more compressed. It's those perfect storm elements that i was speaking to. Individually, each one is a stand-alone upside motivator for the share price. And each one on their own can motivate the price in a more compressed timeframe. But when you have that rare moment where ALL elements first existi in one stock ...more

If I may chime too. Hey Johnney. Normally I wouldn't do this for people I don't know (I used to do it in the past here. But I'm changing it). If I didn't relate so much to what you're going through Johnney I wouldn't have done it. You know what I've been through with this stock just like you. Just a quick reminder for you. I started investing in this stock in 2016 ...more

859, thanks for your post, you bring good points and so does Star. I've day trading this stock for quit a while and made good moves. But there comes a time when day trading is over and I believe this time has come. I always had a position for the long term like I've said before and a day trading one. Experience traders follow the flow and I can tell you that a lot of them are changing ...more

Thanks for the kind words/wishes Patient. I wish you good luck with your Bomber position here too. Cheers

I've been in this stock since 2012, when I learned that Porter Airlines was going to fly the cseries to Billy Bishop. Of course that fell through and then BBD management made one poor decision after another, mismanaged both their air and rail divisions and misled investors for many years to finally divest of the cseries and their rail division. I had opportunities to get out many times but ...more

"Made good moves" lol you try to scare people into selling at the bottom of pullbacks and then you miss the big SP moves upward because you're out of position. All the while you troll the board incessantly if the SP is moving down, bragging about how you're such a good trader. It seems the recent jump back to mid-30s has you humbled....for now.

Looks like this stock is only good for day traders! Same old cha-cha-cha dance and I love it. One step up and two step down. Same routine, but nice Cha-Ching!! If you are part of those fish that got hook in the 4s and 5s pre split, your money is dead, but you can always dream, it's free. Cheers!!                       Be Patient oct ...more

Good post.  Why underestimate R&D / pro dev costs though?  They do need to develop for the future (electric, etc...).  This is what got them in trouble in the first place.
Comment by BBDB859 on Oct 23, 2022 12:42pm
Thanks. I hope I'm not underestimating the Development costs. I know that the R&D for the G8000 is expected to be less than the full clean sheet design. Since it's similar to the G7500. So the cost for re-disign should be minimal. What I don't expect is for the company to veer off it's priority of paying down the LTD. The LTD is it's priority and frankly I don't thing ...more
