LOL... good one!  This type of behaviour was to be expected though.. well, I'm not that surprised.

Me it's the opposite, I'm surprised to be surprised (LOL). Moi c'est le contraire, je suis surprise d'tre surprise.

that's what you get with low number of shares ... every crisis creates a bump in the road - end of the world scenario .. the market will do what it will do and the price you see is what someone was willing to pay to play in the big boys' sandbox... it was tough to see that dip , especially that it really had nothing to do with many sectors except banking ... good thing is that the US won ...more

In the end, this has just created another trading opportunity forr those who wish except at a lower level. We already have seen near 1.00 swings in minutes. No doubt there was a good portion of yesterday's trades that were shorts,,,what part of today's rebound was short covering is what i would question. We will see when it levels off although I have taken some of the opportunity ...more

yes the trading oppurtunies are there but when we get swings like yesterday it sometimes wipes out regular shareholders who have stop losses to protect their profits , then the question for them is how low will it go in order to buy back without missing the jump ... not everyone is a trader nor wants to be ... I'm in it for the long haul on this one but it doesn't hurt to take profits here ...more

I'm not an everyday trader as you guys know. But I have a take here that may be interesting, on the type of trading we're getting lately. I think this stock is being GROOMED to attract traders with these huge SP swings. I feel that the MM are trying to emulate the SP success of the Bomber, to that of the BRP stock. BRP trades with $10.00 fluctuations a lot. I don't know the ins & ...more

Micmar, I totally agree with you, it didn't had nothing to do with their Banks, been played more than dirty!!
Comment by johnney on Mar 14, 2023 12:17pm
Thieves, nothing else! Bombardier had nothing to do with the USA  Banks! Wiped out many that we're on margins! We have the proof since this morning in front of our eyes, no coincidence for s/p drop, was wanted!!
Comment by vonSachsenanhal on Mar 14, 2023 12:24pm
Yeah, this was especially true of regional bank stocks in the US. Lots of poor shareholders sold in a panic yesterday at a 50% discount. Today, some of the same banks are up 50%!
Comment by johnney on Mar 14, 2023 12:37pm
So if some of their banks are up 50%, well someone has lost 50% yesterday if sold!!
Comment by bicente on Mar 14, 2023 12:41pm
of course many people sold , the volume is there , the thing is did they buy back in time before it bounced back ? ..I'm guessing not everyone ...it's part of the game we call the market/casino ... GLTA
Comment by clubhouse19 on Mar 14, 2023 1:59pm
They don't have to buy back before the bounce. The evidence was that it was shorted all day and likely at different levels and covered at times during that day. The experienced shorter will; make money depending on what his average short price is. Those that just shorted only at the end, obviously got snookered but if they were shorting all day, still cud have had an average sell price ...more

There must not been many that shorted the stock from $69!
Comment by BBDB859 on Mar 14, 2023 4:22pm
So from what you're saying then Club is. That the Shorters will increase the SP going up now by covering at different levels. That's a good thing considering that the stock at this SP can handle the shorting more than it was able to when we were a penny stock.

859 On a previous post, I did mention that the feb 15 low was 60.09 taken down from  near 69 and that is pretty well where it closed yesterday. If you look at the market in general on that date there was a similar sell off  of about 450 points Check the charts and trade histories   .So there we have it, IMO a deja vu with good similarities Hard to say what different ...more

Ya I read that previous post in the thread and that's why I commented on the shorting part of the post.. My feeling is that we can't stop shorting. SO IMO, these MM's are controlling the shorting, or dead cat bounces, a lot better than the pre R/S MM's. What I notice is that there really is no risk on the SP recovering the way they do it. You probably know that. Enjoy your ...more

The difference now in trading the bomber is that there are no longer any skeletons in the closet , only good news to come ... I would say it is a safer trade in that you can easily buy back lower as the float is smaller and they can manipulate it easier on a " bad" day ... trying to time a stock/ market is hard but it's easier when the company provides great results.. the skies are ...more

I think you're right Bicente. Though I'm NOT quite ready to try it yet. I'm seeing how Much easier it is right now. As you say They're a making a profit all the time. So that means that all the old skeletons HAVE disappeared. So this is a good time to take advantage of the stability in the trade of the share price. I still need to see a couple trends on the trades, and some good ...more

859 I have mentioned on numerous occasions that shorting is an inherent part of trading now. Those short trading summaries that i have been referring to for a long time should have given everyone a clue.   YOU ARE  correct...you cannot stop shorting it would be like trying to stop stop trading.

Many we're surprised, including me, but we get used to it after several years!!
