A 3rd good news item since the stk mkt closed yesterday

GD this morning reported: 
 

"The Aerospace segment booked $2.5 billion in new orders, driven by strong demand for Gulfstream aircraft."


Aerospace (almost all being Gulfstream) book-to-bill rose to 1.27x.

This is further evidence that the biz jet mkt just keeps rolling along, despite recession speculation being thrown at everybody for awhile now.

And some color from the webcast just concluded:  --strong ordering has continued into Q3 --US corporate customers were a particularly strong order group in Q2
