Deliveries

Just spoke to an employee of the Bomber. He works at the Dorval plant in the interior finish of the jets.

He said customers before talking final possession of the plane, have a flyrun with their own inspector tech specialist.

Most customers always find some faults in the finish i.e.: a scratch on a furniture, some paint droppings on the exterior finish, counter color finishes a
little off. Things like that.

When that happens, The Bomber immediately makes those corrections, which take 2 to 3 days.

This worker told me that at this time their are 30 planes in the Dorval plant at different stages of finish completion. He also said supplier issues come up for parts sometimes which cause minor delays
but overall fairly good.

He told me Q2 should deliver another 8 to 10 planes if all goes well.

He said Q1 is usually slow but for Q2

Not scary or negative prior posts, just writing it as I see it. Been holding Bomber shares for 15 years. Just to add to my conversation with this employer. He mentioned the transition from Downsview to Pearson was seamless on their end. When I asked how employers view CEO Martel's competence, he said Martel was good. He also mentioned an executive guy named Murray who was very good. This ...more

Giving stock buying options is great way to recognize employees and also motivation for employees to work efficiently and be lean. I flew in over Pearson today and saw four unpainted Global parked outside.  Besides not painted they looked complete.  I don't know if these are slated for June Delivery.  They need to be painted and no idea if interior is furnished or not.  ...more

All Global's at Pearson have no finished interiors. All interiors are completed at Dorval.

Do you know if they are painted in Dorval or Pearson?

Paint job, like interiors, is also done in Montreal.
