Pre-market head fakes

I've noticed countless times that the pre-market is usually opposite to where the stock will open at.

This last big run we had, the stock was almost always down in pre-market only to open up. Now, I'm seeing the opposite. Up in pre-market and opens down.

It seems to me like the shorts are back attacking. Also the lower lows and lower highs is concerning. Maybe I'm looking at too short a timeframe. Hopefully it turns around soon.

Pre-market always means nothing.  The orders placed more than 5 minutes before the open are from beginners, multiple days orders (always conservatives) and people who will be absent at the opening. Nothing serious. Real investors wait to the opening after seeing the real trend of the stock.  Why placing an order at 9 ;00 that you will have to adjust 1 minute before the opening or take

I do it often , mostly place bids as low as possible and some oders get filled ( not many) . .. There is always a panic seller  willing to take a lower profit and dump the share when he/she thinks the market will take a dump ... I had great success lately with SHOP  ... played with AC  until the game wasn't fun anymore ... got stuck with some  BCE but it will still bring in
