Just a personal thought

No one can state with certainty what Bombardier's share price will be in a year or 5 years down the road. We can only look at what has transpired since its reinvention into a leading private jet plane company.

With that in mind, here are my assumptions beginning with the pay down of debt to a point that it has no effect on the bottom line. Secondly a dividend once the share price reaches $120, followed by thirdly a share split of somewhere around 5 for 1 upon reaching the $300 plus  mark. As far as long term is concerned $500 plus a share is very doable.

crypto65, very well said, i agree with 95% of what you said i do not know if i agree with share split upon reaching 300 a share , doing that will increase number of shares let us say from 90 millions to 450 millions and will bring earning per share way down share split is a very bad idea paying divident when management feel comfortable to so is a good idea paying dividend will change the ...more

I wanted to understand your thought process. I read today that someone from these conferences stated BBD thinks $2B FCF is possible 2030. I never saw that before (the $2B). Is this what you base your thoughts on for the $500 SP? Im just curious. The $2B might drive $300 SP. not as sure about $500. Some insight to your thinking would be appreciated. Thx Chris

Look at what Bombardier has accomplished, it reinvented itself, transforming into a leader in the private jet industry, quarter upon quarter of growth. Management is playing its hand like a great pianist, taking all the necessary steps, dotting its I’s and crossing its T’s, a virtuoso performance.     The company is growing its base, expanding its reach by carving out new avenues ...more

Hey Chris. Read the article I was responding to, from aviation234 September 12th. The poster that posted the article, said that it was from the recent conferance at MS Laguna Conferance. I don't remember the exact words of the article, so i'll paraphrase. The article writer that I quoted from in that post, is implying that, by 2030, the Bomber's management is expectating their ...more

Hi 889 I'm not questioning anyone's math, I just look at that kind of FCF and look at compatibles. Not an accountant. So it makes sense to perhaps see $300. Just not sure about $500.  i read an article (can't remember where) last year that has healthy growth through 2030 for the BJ segment. And it has been restarted many times over the last year.  so I'm on the side ...more

Quote: Chris. In 2000, after the split, 1for 2, has donne $26! So if you multiply that by 25, that's over $500! Glta!

Hey Chris. I wasn't thinking that you were questioning my thought process. I wasn't thinking that at all. In fact, it's hard not to show the math without explaining all the analysis. I was just showing you what my thought process was. Since you wanted to see how likely the $2B +FCF is? The math shows you the thought process for the $2B +FCF by 2030. I just thought I can't show it ...more
