What will be the cost of the acquisition and especially what will be the financial cost to support the number of employees who will be added to the payroll. Wouldn't it be better to simply repatriate all the equipment to our Montreal facility.

if i remember well, bbd sold the belfast site to sprint and it was considerd a good move as labore and union and dispute over there is..... now, they will buy it again???? how smart that will be unless they will pay much less till they find an alternative

Even if you paid less....... you will still have the labore union and dispute over a better working condition.

I'm inclined to kill 2 birds with one stone type of deal We either buy it and move it to the US or build a new facility in the US hiring laid off Boeing workers as an example (Boeing just laid off 17,000 workers, no idea how many are skilled at wing construction).  Doesn't have to be Boeing, but I know BBD buys the wings for the 7500 from a US manufacturer and Gulfstream builds their ...more
