U 2 Sylvia. Darla Dirladada. We are now finished the dead cat bounce from the manipulation from the US (probably Goldmen) and we're on the way up. They used the 300K shares to sell them to eachother in 2 hours time and artificially drop the price. This type of trading is hard to justify as normal trading.

BBDB859, thank you for the explanation on the dead cat bounce, I didn't know that.  I only know the expression THE CAT HAS 7 LIVES ...  (LOL)  Good Week-End !  Darla

You are welcome Sylvia.  I learned about the dead cat bounce here, from one of the posters. There are a lot of good poster's here. They all teach us something. Especially the ones that make good contributions. I think the cat you are thinking about is the Bomber. It has nine lives. Enjoy your weekend too. Dirla

thank you  BBBDB, AGAIN, I LEANED SOMETHING FROM YOU TODAY  " It has nine lives."i thought it only has 7 lives, with 2 more lives, we should overcome all obstacles
Comment by SylviaM62 on Jan 13, 2025 5:28pm
Shamhorish and BBD, I just want to clarify that for the number of lives of a cat, we are all right.  It is 7 or 9 depending on the cultures and beliefs of the different countries.  The French say 7 and the English 9.  For Bomber, I prefer 9, we won't have too many ...  (Lol)

SylviaM62, thank you for Clarification as for now, we need to see a 2nd jump , 2 out of 7 or 9  does not mater  LOL

BBD,B DEAD CAT JUMP NO 2 has been partially (or in the process of beeing) acheived this morning   Day's Range89.61 - 92.20

FYI a dead cat bounce is when a rapidly declining stock's price 'bounces' off a low with some momentary buying, before continuing its decline, as the company/stock is dying. So very much not an accurate term to use with regard to Bomber's stock.
Comment by BBDB859 on Jan 11, 2025 6:00pm
Thank you Nordico. As you know me well, I'm not a trader so I appreciate the correction of the term. My whole point in the post was that, that quick drop yesterday wasn't  normal. and the culprits were the same suspects from the USA doing it. I guess maybe manipulation is the right word then. What term would you use describe it?
Comment by BBDB859 on Jan 12, 2025 10:19am
Hey Nordico. Here are some terms of manipulation I found, by Gibbs Law. Wash trading – selling and re-purchasing the same security or substantially the same security to generate activity and increase the price. Bear raiding – attempting to push down the price of a stock by heavy selling or short selling. Given the defenition above: This is probably more of what took place on this ...more

After writting the post bellow about the manipulation. I thougth I would check further and see who are some of the biggest Institutional holders of the Bomber stock. It turns out oddly, that it is Small World Cap, and Vanguard (selling & buying to eachother) that I accused of manipulation last Friday. Is this a case for us of "be careful for what you ask for" ??? Some other ...more

thanks BBDB, and i think they will keep doing same game and pocketing big bucks
Comment by Letsmakemoredol on Jan 13, 2025 9:25am
859, I read your post and while I appreciate the insight do you have evidence to back up claims that is was Vanguard.  I don't see any evidence in your post and frankly could have been anyone with enough shares In my eyes I don't think there is enough daily volume for the Wall Street guys to care about Bombardier IMO
Comment by Acuras1 on Jan 13, 2025 10:16am
You're right about Wall Street guys not paying much attention to Bombardier. However, the stock  also trades on the Canadian Cboe and Canadian exchange. Vangard has already been in Canada selling funds for 25 years. That said churning stocks is an age old strategy done everyday, given the appropriate market / stock circumstances. Given faily lax regulation implemented by IIROC (fox ...more

When the heavy shorting happened on this past Friday Jan the 10th, between the time of 9:30 am and 11:30 am, to drop the SP to $88 from $93 close of Thursday Jan 9th. I asked Sham to print the people that traded between that time frame of 9:30 to 11:30. He didn't respond. But TheBomber2023 sent the list of traders. When I saw the list of Vangaurd & Small Cap, and their friends in crime ...more

Great find BBD, regular Sherlock Holmes and I'm sure you were on it all weekend.I hope the backlog is growing cause that's the next problem n'est pas?
Comment by Levieillard on Jan 13, 2025 11:32am
Lots of time lost in things he doesn't even understand. I don't trade (and shortsell) because I don't have the tools to swim with the big fishes. I would never pretend I know if the stock is manipulated or not. But I know that people trading with themselves from 94 to 88, back to 94, in a couple of hours, must not have made a big profit. Back to square one. Making little profits many ...more

I very much doubt we're looking at a "catastrophic" quarter. Quite the opposite. The tarrifs may have been a factor in new bookings last quarter. But let's be serious, anyone buying a plane in late 2024 is looking at delivery in a couple of years. Very much doubt tarrifs will be an issue by then.
Comment by Letsmakemoredol on Jan 13, 2025 11:53am
This weekend I was speaking with a fellow BBD investor in the US, who also happened to be in house council for a large firm who owned a business jet.  He completely agreed there are many options around the tariffs like foreign subsidaries buying the jet.  His firm alone has 11 offices and corporations outside the USA alone. He would be the guy dealing with a potential new business jet ...more

That's another good point Von. These planes ordered today won't be delivered till 2027 one year from now at the earliest, just before the Orangaten is gone. Finally, Q1 is a slow delivery time anyway. So getting a 1 to 1 B/B won't be that hard. By Q2. Things will cool off by then for sure.
Comment by Levieillard on Jan 13, 2025 1:04pm
We are waiting for Q4 results (not Q1) ... the quarter where we deliver the most number of planes. Buying a jet in the actual context is not ideal and could lower the orders. Period. When you look at Gulfstream and BBD and wonder what jet you want to buy, the menace of tariffs could make the difference. Remember the fall just because cash was down last quarter, it doesn't take a very bad new ...more
