Could someone explain to me why this stock is getting hammered? CIBC and every other analyst love the stock. CIBC said recent downturn was because of higher inflation. HOwever, inflation has been falling. Very confused. Is this a Harris/Trump thing?

Very frustrating.  I just bought this in May and am now down 13%.  Seems to be no reason for this performance.  If a sector is unloved shorts can pick a target and go to town.  With a beta of .87 this would seem to be unusual trading.  Buying opp?

Would also be intreested to know. The guess about election uncertainty is probably a good one. Can't imagine it's not at least a factor for the entire green sector ATM.

It's a Harris Trump thing.  A couple of polls came out in the past 24 hours showing improvement for Trump. Since BEP is renewables you can get the picture.  Trumps DJT stock is also bouncing today.  Buying opportunity in my mind.

So the proof is in the pudding. Harris annihilated trump last night in the debate and surprise surprise, our stock is up today or flat.

I think I may approach this one only with options for the time being. There's other macro factors than the election of course, but don't forget how 2016 went.
