Hope Jeff learns from its peers like peyto, arc etc, that a good dividend is essential to make a floor on the share price, and hence good appreciation

I think Jeff is doing perfectly fine. I do not want a bump in the dividend at all.  Pay the debt - stick with the story we've been told for the last 9 months. Pay me later. I am lucky and have time on my hands...I can wait.  Derisk the business and then pay me 10 cents or more a month dividend please.

If NG prices stay strong...I don't see the price dropping. 12 months ago I was told it would take 5 years to be debt free. Less than 2 months ago I was told BIR moved the date up by 3 years.  I want to see no debt. Not a dollar of interest going to the banks that don't care whether this industry lives or dies. Keep the production flat for the next 3 years and pay me great dividends ...more
