Makes you wonder

Many of these oil and gas companies kept promising'next quarter' before significant fcf returned to shareholders. Now it's questionable if they can deliver on it given the current environment. Not much of a stretch to think they expected this .

BIR surely can deliver. Based on their budget forecasts, there will be ample free cash for at least two special dividends next year in addition to the .80 cents. I anitcipate they will announce a special dividend again on the 18th. The board has taken the strategic direction to reward shareholders which is supported by their Oct payout of .20 cents.   Yesterday Biden announced that the ...more
