You're so right TM911, you're SOOO right. Either 1) this is a person with no finance education whatsoever (or who did poorly if courses were indeed taken). University, but even IFIC or MFIC will teach you that the past doesn't guarantee the future. No one worth trusting in a position to provide reputable, responsible and ethical financial advice would ever say anything like that or ...more
