Don't grasp at straws with this one right now. 

Low volume this close to ex dist day is NORMAL. 

People hang on, often losing twice as much as the distribution they collected in the process.

I'm not saying this is a death knell, far from it. 

Be nimble and do your math/due diligence. If you have a broker doing the trading for you, get on their case.

Look,  its obvious financials are taking a beating and are out of favor.  So the question is do you avoid them or see it as an opportunity?  I tend to look at it more as a buying opportunity.  We are talking banks here and from my recollection every time they have gone on sale due to any number of reasons the main one being recession,  they have managed to roar back a ...more
