BK unit nav to MAy 15 = approx; $21.87

Showing a gain of $1.21 since April 30th.. only FTN and FFN had a bigger gain. FFN has a much lower UNIT NAV to start MAY, so the % gain is much higher. Last trade @ $11.37 means BK trading at a ...more

BK unit nav to May 12 = approx:$21.43

Showing  gain of 77 cents since April 30. This values the commons at $11.43 , and now trading at a slight discount of 23 cents , with the last trade @ $11.20

If you have the stones to do this, I'd rather wait for a weaker market to flip the switch. BK has an outstanding record of paying but it adjusts down as markets weaken. The risk here is that on a ...more

I've also had these ideas, I'm not 100% sure but I think in Canada you can write off the interest rate on the loan if it's used to buy and income generating asset with some rules

Post financial crises I played the carry-trade. I borrowed on my HELOC which was under 4% and made interest only payments. I used the proceeds to buy DGS which was paying close to 20% at the time. It ...more

Just look at the charts. Lower highs and lower lows. It's a recipe to lose your principle faster than the distribution replaces it, even if you don't borrow money at whatever rate.  All ...more
