CNQ Dividend $3

CNQ just raised their dividend to $75/q for $3/year.  That is huge in my view.  

With such a low float, BNE could easily do this if they were not so controlled and beholden to lenders.  Hopefully they've learned their lesson and will get back to their roots of maintaining production, low if not zero debt, and an actual sustainable dividend paying company they developed their business model for.

 That's it. That's the whole  deal. Bonterra has paid over one Billion dollars in dividends and has hardly issued any shares which is why they were able to pay 30 cents a month. And why the stock was over 60 dollars.  Leverage is dropping like a rock - twice as fast as expected  might as well pay the shareholders

Agreed.  But they also were paying dividends out of debt though which is obviously not sustainable.  Not that they couldn't have originally funded it I think the acquisitions were too many and too much.  Debt = debt slave as we can see today and banks/lenders own you.  Better to be a lender than a borrower.  As I said, hopefully they learned a few lessons here.
