I think I'm going to sell some shares, I have way too many.

I'm going to take a hit, but maybe I'll buy back lower.

All just my opinion/view/thinking....buy high sell low.... that's what happens when you catch falling knife....  I still fall for it after all these years.

Do you have another investment in mind, at this time, that will give you as good a "tax advantaged" current yield with indication of increased yield a few years from now? If not, I see no point in selling at this time.  The dividends are coming at the end of this month. If you do have a better investment in mind please share the ...more

#1 reason, I'm way toooo invested, I'm up to my eyebrows in shares.  I have too much. #2 .... I broke my trading rules and ignored my initial gut feeling.   I spoke of this when I first bought BPO shares.   Back in 2020 my gut told me no to BPO, but I had other choices and bought HSE Prefers.   Flash forward 2023, I ignored my gut because BPO offered ...more

I had 4500 T (15% of my folio) and felt uneasy with it. started selling around 19 all the way down to 13. didnt do the math but i think i just about broke even after accounting for the divvy for 1 1/2 year. i recycled into other prefs including some BN, both minimum resets and some floaters but no issue exceeds 5% of my folio. i wont tell you what to do but i know how it feels being over allocated ...more
