There was other stuff out today as well having to do with the emergency act. Apparently one of the Libs main advisor had a solution to end the rally but the turd would not have any of it. He is an idiot voted in by idiots.  I have never seen in my life so many f*ck Trudeau flags and decals. Maybe people are waking up

Then you weren't around in the late 70's or early 80's , Pierre ended the same way . At least Pierre was educated , junior is a drama teacher !!!!! The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree , makes you wonder if the next generation of retards will be making the same mistake in a decade or two .
Comment by JohnnyDoe on Aug 12, 2022 6:26am
that's not really fair to drama teachers. Pierre was an intellect. Not all educated people are intellects. I have a daughter that's qualified to teach drama and with 6 years and 3 degrees under her belt, she is well educated. The difference between Pierre and Justin is Pierre was a principled intellect, Justin is an intellectual light weight without principles

Pierre treated the west as a colony for the Laurentian elite.   He taught Justin this and he has acted accordingly.  This has been the attitude of the Liberal party going back to its beginnings.  My opinion only.

Yes but I bet you don't know WHY he flipped the bird. He didn't flip off 'us'. I Never voted once for the arrogant pr!ck but I admired his intellect and his balls for flipping off a bunch of loony hecklers throwing cr@p at the train. He was on vacation with his three very young boys at the time. I'd have done the same. Or asked the cops to crack a few skulls. I also enjoyed his ...more

You aren't old enough to remember Myron baloney aka Brian Mulroney ? Very unpopular but won a huge majority, the largest majority ever, from stumbling, fumbling John turner. It's just a Canadian thing to put someone on a pedestal (elect them) then beat them down every chance we get. Whether you voted for them or not. Except maybe Joe Clark, who we all just felt sorry for. Trudeau's ...more

Anybody STUPID enough to vote for the liberals gets what they deserve. The country can probably still be saved but if the liberals get another term then we will be bankrupt, we are already morally there.

Interesting to hear Nuttall say oil and gas taxes account for 13% of government revenues.   The enormous damage to this country that Trudeau's policies have brought cannot be understated.  How many $trillions in investment  has been lost?  How many hundreds of $billions in tax revenues?  How many people have lost their homes?  How many bankrupt?  How many ...more

Lets see, day 1, wake up drink coffee. Later that day cancel Energy east, a little later cancel northern gateway, have a nap and realize that Trans mountain will shut down as well, so I guess we will buy it then blow the living cr*p out of the budget for the thing. Meanwhile back in reality oil companies in western Canada start leaving. The amount of tax dollars lost is unreal. The hospitals we ...more

Yes the woke warriors never include the costs of lost government revenues and their impacts on health care, education and social programs.   Many lives have either been lost or been destroyed and it's getting worse.

Conservatives won the popular vote in the last 2 elections. Sure we could have had better representation as in the staged water drinking Scheer. It was funny, on the campaign trail, whenever he was done talking, before taking any questions he would always take a drink out of the same glass, it looked far too routine. Then we had the hands together Otoole. Besides all this, they still brought us ...more

I don't think the system is necessarily tilted against the west. It is somewhat tilted towards Quebec. They have more seats than their population otherwise warrants
Comment by TheWokeLemming on Aug 13, 2022 11:32am
An ignorant comment.   Look at the percentage of seats the west gets in both the House of Commons and the Senate compared to population.   Look at the history of this country, whether it was the CPR charging exorbitant freight fees with the approval of Ottawa, Daddy Trudeau's National Energy policy or the outright stealing of wealth through transfer payments.   The cards have ...more

there's lots you can read about the electoral process. Representation is adjusted every 10 years. What do you consider "the west". Is that the Prairies or do you include BC? If you include BC, the west has as many seats as they have people. If you exclude BC, the west is over represented by a seat. Alberta and BC are underrepresented and Manitoba and Saskatchewan are over represented ...more

The system is more than somewhat tilted in favour of Quebec  for the six decads i've been alive . Quebec is the whining child of the family who gets everthing they want while the other kids do without . They accept 13 billion from Alberta per year , build other businesses and do what they can to shut down oil , by the way i'm from the east coast , never been out west but i sure can ...more

Look at university tuition alone.  Alberta fees are now around $8000 per year, whereas in Quebec it's about $3000.  The difference is the transfer payments subsidizing Quebec students   Imagine spending $12K on a degree instead of $32K and how far ahead one is upon graduation. Just one example of how the transfers impact everyday life for western Canadians.   The ignorant ...more
