Clearwater payback at $45 WCS
Anyone know the payback at these values?
Say $45/bbl
Say initial well production 1,000 bbl per day thats what $ 1.3m in the first month
What are the costs?

Yes that is the cost. 1-1.3 million. Inflation may have taken it a bit higher now, but at $45, Clearwater is paying back in no more than 6 weeks.

Ok thought so So still piles of cash at $45 WCS Paying out in less than 2 months I think Eric said historically 18 month pay back was good.....so 2 month i guess still amazing Tough to believe with only $45 oil but i guess the BTE lands are cash cows.

One thing to keep in mind Gambino is that the $45 example is paid in US dollars , with CDN dollar at 73 cents , $45US is $62CDN . I don't know the exact calculations but Clearwater wells are much cheaper to complete (no fracking required) and thus are paid off rapidly . According to Q3 , BTE was pumping 10,000bpd in October from Clearwater alone , up nearly 2K from Q2 .
