Bought in Again

I initially bought into Baytex 250k shares at 40 cents in 2020s .
Maxmoe knows my posts .
I sold out  half at 9$ and have bought back inagain now . I have always been woried about their inventory and the deal looks awesome to me . Lots of people have been stung by losses after Aurora and Raging River acquistions .
What people dont understand is that the current deal is much better as it helps the FCF at current price.
Just patience till Q3 2023 . I get paid a 9 cent divvy on my 40 cent purchase which is almost 25% divvy yield on purhase price. Freaking awesome.
250k shares  x 0.09$ =22.5k dividend yearly.
Looking at double digits by year end  and possibly earlier if Oil hits 100$ again with summer driving season

You're full of it Manitoba , apparently you own 250,000 shares of every stock you claim you hold. Here's a post that you say you bought at $1.00 , others that you claim 40 cents , which is it ? The dollar sign usually is in front of the amount , anyone knows this except for the un educated pretending to be high rollers Post by ManitobaCanuckon Dec 22, 2022 8:57am ...more

I think French speaking people often put the dollar sign after the number. That's the way they write it.

Mr Wildfury   I assume you are quite new to forum . Hopefully a few old timers here who vouch for my posts will help a trigger a few action potentials to drive saltatory conduction along your axons . The way you question my education for obvious misplacement of a dollar sign ,very well defines the shallowness of your thought. If i choose to be more specific , this looks more like a disordered ...more

Don't bother my old friend. The clown troll team show doesn't care about having their bullsquirt corrected. I have most if not all of them on ignore, so I recommend same from you. By the way, I'm a bit if a stickler aka jackhole about spelling, grammar etc that would include the placement of the $ or other currency symbol. It is convention in North America to place it as $9.99 but in ...more

Welcome back Manitoba.  Comparing this deal to Aurora and Raging River is Apples to Oranges to Bananas for sure. They paid full dollar for Aurora at market peak only to watch resource prices crater shortly after. Bad timing, but not the worst idea if you thought oil prices were going to stay where they were.  Raging River was a godsend for BTE, not from an asset point of view, but for ...more

why would you average up by over $5 per share??!!! lolll there are other stocks in the stock market loll spread your cash and your risk my man

Maybe heed your own "advice". You've posted approximately 1000 times in the last year of which over 95% are BTE. Looks like you need to diversify snowflake. The principle of diversification is just as valid for your 10k portfolio as it is for man's multimillion.

I am.. I'm not averaging up on BTE LOLLL And I thought we were all gonna be nice to eachother in 2023??! So you're saying I need to diversify my bullboard usage?? And you're defending Manitoba buying at $5 plus a share on his $.025 shares (even tho you said you sold today)?? wow. Guess those 5 shots finally kicking in eh?! hahaha haha It's true I've been here for so long ...more

How about spare us the hypocrisy. Shoveling your "advice " to diversify away from just BTE just struck me as unnecessary from someone obsessed with same name. And a bit funny.

For me its value at current market conditions   . Baytex was overvalued at 9$ in 2022 hence I sold half  .With the current acquistion ,it is valued more than 5.45$ (todays closing) .  I sold some of my REITs/European stocks  to move back into here ,enticed by the potential torque to oil prices , US shale oil inventory . Will talk more in Q3 ,when this hits 8-9 ...more

Read the merger documents from Baytex, They will pay 9 cents divvy annually once merger is complete . Did you miss your morning dose of Donepezile, Rivastigmine and Galantamine ?
