This means nothing he is just averaging down like me and you. What did it do to the share price when he bought lately 260K shares? This also wouldn't do anything to the SP unless a miracle happens to the oil price that jump above $90. Other than that this stock is finished.

Sure, you go with that idea. Anyone with even a small amount of knowledge knows an insider doesn't buy shares in the open market to drive the price up, he buys because he sees value and wants to make money. But thanks for coming out

While a go when share of ACB was going down I don't remember the exact price, but I think it was around $5 to $ 5.50 or $3 to $3.50 the CEO bought $1M worth of shares, the stock never went up again and today it is $0.74, so what value did the CEO was seeing to buy $1M worth of shares? Unfortunately I have lost significantly amount of money on holding BTE since 2016, and still hold, but we ...more

Yes, one possible thing that may push the SP up is selling some Canadian assets to reduce the debt and focus mostly on Eagle Ford after closing Ranger Oil deal. I don't know If the management has attention to do so?

 They will paydown the increased debt (  q4/24 at strip prices) .Why sell assets at firesale prices.  They spent 3.5 billion for Ranger Oil and will recover that in 3 yrs . The increase in prodn to 160kbl/day from 85kbl/day is free .
