If someone talks more logic with some facts and you can't reply logically they are bashars? All I said is fact, BTE had $-2M FCF in Q1 and Q2 WTI is averaging $74 so far, where do they get the cash to buyback 1M shares per day? So do the math yourself if you think I am not right. And for your kind information I am long on BTE since 2016 with average cost of $5.54 ish, but the reality is

And if all you guys say that BTE is making a lots of cash, you think all those big pocket bankers will be jumping and SP will fly, they know a lot more than me and you and have access on information that we don't. Any ways good luck to all long including me.

Hi 1234bmth, when the results came out I was concerned about the negative cash flow in the first quarter too, but when  I looked into it Baytex has spent a lot of its capital budget in the 1st Q.  I am not sure what they were planning on spending in the 2nd Q, but I suspect they will have higher free cash flow or they would not have had the news release.  FYI, they all likely had

I completely agree with your point, I know they had more capex in Q1 , this is my point negative FCF in Q1 and lower oil price in Q2 which automatically reduces the FCF for Q2 therefore, they don't have enough cash on hand to buy 1M shares a day as someone here mentioned I don't know where he got that estimation, as I mentioned before if they are capable to buy 1M shares a day for a longer
