Red I agree with what MS. Croft had to say... She is missing one big component....Saudi Arabia has been looking to gradually sell off the Saudi Arabia Crown Corporation, Saudi Aramco, to the public for the past couple of years...and they are currently trying to issue $50 billion chunk of shares as part of that mandate..... So why would Saudi Arabia bend to US concerns about inflation and allow ...more

I have in mind an open question !! What will happen to the price of Brent and WTI price if Saudi Arabia admits it does not have enough oil inventory to maintain current production levels ? Is it a possibililty ???

Of course this is a possibility. And the price would jump considerably. i actually believe this to be true but not just for SA but for the whole world. You cannot pull out 100 miliion barrels of oil out of the ground every day without someday to start running out. It is a finite product.  I think the big think tanks know this and that is why we are in the beginning stages to switch to ...more

Actually neither Saudi Arabia nor Russia has reached their production levels over the last year. They may have oil in the ground, but they are having ahard time getting it to market with their present infrastructure.  These "cuts" may be not cuts at all since they have not reached their targets, but what they can produce at full capacity.  They may want to give the impression ...more
