- so the FINANCIAL GENIUSES at the US Department of Energy has PUT OUT a TENDER to BUY 4.5 million barrels of crude oil TO REFILL the SPR at USD 79 per barrel

- however, the WTI AUGUST 2024 FUTURES CLOSED yesterday at USD 82.10 per barrel

- are THEY 'EXPECTING' the price of WTI crude oil TO DECLINE by USD 3+ per barrel in the NEAR FUTURE ?

They are not expecting the price of WTI to decline, the Biden administration will try to do this decline because they want to buy back as low as possible. BUT I don't think Biden will win because he is a looser yet.
