The Producers In The Shale Have Gotten Wise To That And Realize If They Do The Barrel Will Drop To A Point Where It's Not Profitable.  The Shale Isn't Producing As Much As When Trump Was In Office And I Don't Care How Many Different Ways Their Drilling It Ain't Happening,But I Do Love

I agree that one could argue it does not make fiscal sense. If you ask most oil investors, they would likely say that oil stocks rarely trade based on fiscal sense, but rather on the perception of oil flows.

I do not think it matters who wins the next US election. For the last year the rig count keeps decreasing. US production has mostly been flat.
