7 out of 777.  Is that a lot?

On four of the days in December the company bought back over 1,000,000 shares per day ......... that's aggressive and notable as such.

Do you know what the total share buyback was for December or only those 4 days?
Comment by HeavyBanana on Jan 03, 2025 9:58am
The balance purchased at the end of December was 8 million shares and  of those 7 million shares were cancelled. The thermal asset sale was closed on the 20th and the chunky buys began on the 23rd. It's possible that some of the sales funds were used to buy severley depressed shares rather then the entire sum being applied to debt. We shall see.

Did they buyback over 1 millions shares/day or did they buyback 1 million dollars worth of shares/day??
