Positives

There is a floor for this stock. Exchange helps. Write downs are in. Shortage of NBSK globally while other grades are oversupplied. Two strong NBSK mills are worth more than 200miilion. Hold for 6 months and tune it out. You will do fine.

Don't be down woodwise and name calling is childish. there are a lot of other pulp companies that are hitting highs so hopefully you diversified appropriately. I do however think canfor pulp is still viable and could make money. We will see how management handles the hurdles they have in front of them. First 40 are layed off in early April and they have plans to keep as many employees as ...more

Your a tough nut woodwise lol. Yes they could make money, any company has the opportunity to make money. If they invest what's left of their capital rebuilding all of the rotted out equipment and in robotics and lay off another 200 people they just might make a profit one day.

Definitely agree. It's common sense.  Not sure what the fuss is in the comments on this but I just it all as blocked.  I remember little woody there being long on sass and short on ideas so I blocked him a long time ago. It's worth noting that John Baird bought 2000 shares at $18+ a few years ago.  He's on some big league boards and is likely mighty unhappy about this.& ...more
