As stated in the article I would think this is more for disabling the miltatry defence and government defence capabilities ahead of an attack.  Disrupting the nuclear program is a bonus but they have progressed too far since the last time the Israelis knocked out their centriguges with a virus and already have enough enriched uranium.  All of that needs to be destroyed and that can't ...more

Thats great Qinte, but we see that oil on the 14th and into the early hrs of the 15th shed about $6-7 dollars. Is that so when Israel strikes Iran it goes back up to only $75? Brilliant, who's pulling on the oil price strings?
Comment by Quintessential1 on Oct 15, 2024 7:29am
Biden obviously!   I mean who else could it possibly be?  The old man is sitting on that beach and whenever he wants he just moves the oil price slide down on his phone. (That's his only job) It couldn't possibly be the market.  Oil has never ever been volatile ever in its hstory. Hey did you see your shadow when you poked your head out of the hole?    ...more

Did you take your head out your hole just for one moment to understand that the 5% decline yeterday and another 3% today on China is totally unwarranted. The timing is perfect, that way when Israel strikes the oil price only rebounds back to $75. This happens over and over again a pattern we have seen when high oil prices were deemed to be the main cause of inflation. Gee the US stock market hit a ...more

Do you ever have an original thought of your own? I doubt the Israel strike will do much of anything to oil and neither does the market. So far it hasn't touched oil and it's not looking like it's going to. You are the one that has zero original thought, as you just parrot what you read. You have zero meaningful analysis but that is already know because everyone can see how green you are despite pretending that you do. It has been understood that Israel wouldn't taget oil facilities late last week as it would affect other countries besides just Iran. I indicated that weeks ago. They will be ...more

Well I guess the markets wanted to hear the Israel news from Israel and not from you even though you're the bestest original thinker ever.  LOL Like I said ....we don't want it to be Israel news we want it to be China data that isn't bad enough so we can blame it on the The Old Man and the Sea.   Besides I am having way too much fun to start growing up now pops. Sure, and the Israelis situation is just peaceful is it. Everyone knows they are bombing and hard they will hit, highly likely not oil and maybe not the Nuke facility that you so eloquently predicted. At the same time the US is deploying their most advanced missile defence system and troops to operate them...So tell me how that is not preparation for further escalation? And China's inflation ...more

Peaceful or not if it doesn't affect global oil distribution the markets just don't seem to care. Here is what I know.  You keep saying oil is being manipulated.   I keep asking by who and how? ALl I get are more questions.   Except for when you admitted you had no proof because "of course there isn't any proof". Now I would think a wise old ...more

Best just to assume that every market, everywhere, is always manipulated. Think about it. If you enter a 1 million share market-price order for CJ doesn't the price go up? Didn't your actions manipulate it up? The question isn't whether or not the market is manipulated, it's "How do I profit from this?" If everyone is selling a quality stock, then it's time to buy ...more

So the market manipulated by the market?  Isn't that just the market?  I'll buy that. Now the market manipulated by one party?   Doesn't the other party have any money?  Any market influence? That's why I keep asking by who and how? If it's the market then that is just business as usual. GLTY and all

By the market or the market maker??
Comment by Quintessential1 on Oct 16, 2024 11:47am
So there is just one market maker?  Who is that? GLTA

The TSX has Market Maker List. Look it up.
Comment by bows333 on Oct 16, 2024 12:36pm
Yes. Everyone, doing everything, is what the market is. Deal with it, and figure out how it works and how to make money.
Comment by Quintessential1 on Oct 16, 2024 1:06pm
Everyone, everywhere all at once?   So we can't just apply the factors we want to and ignore the others because we think they are already priced in? Sounds right. Making money just doing whatever.  That's the beauty of the CJ dividend. SAGD is going to make it bigger.  Soon. GLTY and all

I think the biden administration is manipulating the markets too.  I did hear him say he will do whatever it takes to keep gas prices low.  I wwouldn't be suprised to see Isreal attacking Irans oil infastructure after the presidential election in the us.  I think there is too many rumors floating around for their own agenda.  Do you think Isreal called the Washington post ...more
