Ukraine could target more oil infrastructure with longer range missiles . Currently they can only hit storage facilites near the border .

No, I saw that. The moment that happened Russia will prioritize taking out those installations and will counter with more destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure. Have you already forgotten when the "feared" Leopard 2 tanks came on the scene and for all the hype was a nothing burger?

Recall the feared "Spring Offensive" that Ukraine was going to conduct earlier this year. That didn't materialize as Ukraine is mostly in defensive mode as they are losing their soldiers and the war. The timing of Biden allowing them to use the US long-range missile, at this juncture was primarily to undermine the efforts of Trump to negotiate a settlement. Russia has responded by ...more

750 billion on Iraq war.      2 trillion on Afghanistan.    Close to three trillion on thier "war on terror" the republicans started because there were NO weapons of mass destruction in Iraq in the end.  Over 20 years put in perspective those are dollars starting 23 years ago in value.  In todays dollars maybe 4 trillion equivalent to day.  USA ...more

You didn't mention all the Americans that died in Vietnam to try and defeat an enemy who was barefoot and didn't have much of an airforce. And lets not forget all the innocent Vietnamese who were slaughtered or had thier huts torched all because they were labelled as being communist supporter.
