I just learned something today. The determination of proved reserves is based on a companies willingness to develop those reserves over the next short period (5 years I believe ) Thus the announcement by Crew of their intention to double their production within that time frame may consequently lead to a higher proved reserves quantity and a higher NPV valuation !!

Will the result of the reserves be market moving? I feel like, in the prior years, this was a non-event.

That pursuit of acquisitions should place a much greater emphasis on Asset valuations. That is what I am waiting for , and I do not feel it is very far away. I have never said it before, but I am ready for a buyer the scoop the firm. I will be the first one to vote in favour.

Nobody is buying this until it goes down to $2-$2.50. They will then offer $3. A buyout is the wost thing for Crew at the moment.

CREW down 30% in the last 2 months. Smart money saying, "why not another 30%". It would be extremely difficult to argue this with NG set to plummet to under $1.00.

It is time for Dale to sell this company as Dale can not get the value otherwise. Going lower and lower even with decent hedges in place says it all.

An example of an acquisition of a private company by a public company. Currently private companies are being acquired because for some reason they tend to have lower valuations than public companies https://boereport.com/2023/02/06/international-petroleum-corporation-announces-acquisition-in-southern-alberta/
