Sobering Thoughts

When you stop and look back at stocks like Costco, Amazon, McDonald's, Apple and blue chip holdings (Buffett, Munger etc..), you really notice that the day to day, year to year stuff really doesn't matter when it comes to building wealth. You need a good 10, 20 years of waiting and accumulating. Can you imagine where the market cap of Curaleaf will be in 2030? At least 100B i would say (20x). Cannabis will br legal in the US and Europe, Curaleaf will be listed on NYSE, Cannabinoid based drugs will be widely available.

True dat.  However, when you consider the dramatic ups and downs then swing trading is best way to go vs buy and hold. In the case of the sector melt down, it started March 2021 - when Biden was firing people from the White House for cannabis use.  First sign that legalization was not going to be an easy road even though he campaigned on it. https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/biden-s-white ...more
