CANEXUS CORP 6.5 PCT DEBS > Is Blunderheim for sale?

Is Blunderheim for sale?

With all the mismanagement at Blunderheim in the last 6 months, I firmly believe that it is for sale. No doubt now that Canexus can not properly build it, but they also do not have the resources or management to run it. The question therefore arises, who will buy it?
Well one company who does have the ability to complete the job and run the facility is Gibson Energy. They also have a good business arrangement with Cenovus...
At this stage in the Blunderheim fiasco, I really don't think that Canexus has a choice but to sell the facility to someone who can complete the job and make it work.

I just don't think canexus would sell NATO this close to the finish line,it's not like they are hard up for the money and they are looking for a new CEO. But I would have to think there are companies looking to take out canexus at this oversold state of the share price. Whitey

Whitey, at this stage of the game we really don't know how close to the finish line Blunderheim really is. On top of that, does anyone really believe that Canexus can actually run the facility properly? I still can't figure out as to why Blunderheim's pipe to rail loading facility has to be shut-down for the expansion this summer. They should be able to expand it without such a ...more

Kherson I think at this point they have thrown out all the bad news they can and the share price reflects it,so any surprises will be of the good news variety re- shorter shut down than planned. They are changing the guard and I think they want  to under promise and over deliver .Time will tell. Wayne

Hey Whitey4$.  I have Kherson on ignore but I see you have been replying to him.  The guy is deep into conspiracy theories and the funny part is he says it with a straight face.  In the last eight weeks he has claimed that CUS was being forced to restate some of last years financials, that they had huge demurage charges for trains waiting and not being used that would come out in Q4 ...more

Hi Hawk I have a long term hold on my shares and I think it was oversold at $6 ,there was  a pp bought at $5.60 so this is a great entry point . I do hear what you say about Kherson ,he is short this stock or trying to buy cheaper ,probably  the last one. Anyways I don't have time for it .Kherson is on ignore thanks Whitey

I guess my call last month on Gary Kubera getting the axe has a few folks spooked. What Hawk seems to forget is that we investors can only make money by being prepared for what could happen tomorrow, instead of what happened yesterday.  Having said that, the poster who talked about the demurage charges clearly stated that they would affect the 1st quarter financials, the CFO is ...more
