Why it's 2015 already. Here is what I see coming down the pipes for the long suffering Canexus shareholders in 2015. NATO will be sold for about $375 million and the dividend will finally be eliminated...

Let's take a closer look at the pros and cons of investing in Canexus at this time. Canexus has a huge debt and must now sell NATO to reduce their debt plus we all now know that they can't even manage it properly. I don't believe that they are up to the 40% capacity that most of you believe that they are. So the real question is now what in heck can they get for an underperforming ...more

dude, I don't see ANY pipelines being built in the shorter term and that means ALOT of stranded oil needing a way out. this makes their NATO project a highly sought after INFRASTRUCTURE asset even with oil prices in the dumps. if anything, NATO is even more valuable at today's oil price as it represents one of the few alternatives to get value added pricing selling product to specific ...more

Dude, call IR (403 571-7300) and ask them how many trains are actually being loaded at NATO per week? Better yet, ask them how many trains were loaded during the month of December?Very simple question, dude... Kherson

You don't need to phone IR.  Already answered in their December new release. Quote: "in addition, nominations from our customers for the month of December are at our expectations." or I guess we could just take your imaginary scenarios to be the truth, cause you have a direct mind connection to all things Canexus.  LOL

Lol... I guess you did call IR. What you quoted doesn't actually tell us at what the persent operating capacity factor really is. We both now know that it is lower than 40%... Kherson

Exactly how many Unit Trains a week does Canexus's "expectations" equal? Most interesting that Canexus has not released the actual number of unit trains being loaded... Kherson

Posted 18 months ago by the paid Canexus pumper. In the end, Canexus sold Blunderheim for only $75 million... Kherson

I orginally posted this 3 weeks ago. After yesterday's presentation by Doug Wonnacott at the Whistler Conference, it now looks like I was bang on, Canexus will not be getting their Capital Investment back if they do indeed sell Blunderheim. I now wonder when will the BOD eliminate the dividend? Kherson

Lets assume for a moment what you are saying is accurate.   A "few" midstream players...lets see - that could be AltaGas, Enbridge, Gibson, InterPipeline, Keyera, Kinger Morgan, Pembina, or Transcanada - thats 8 midstream.   If there is one E&P - say Cenovus - that's 9.  Ok - consistent with "significant interest" and "numerous" proposals.   ...more

Interesting drop in the share price today. Could there be more problems at Blunderheim? Then again, I hear that real estate ain't moving so fast in Alberta... Kherson
