Slumming

I am.  In this do nothing but lose market, this seems a risk worth taking.  25% gap?

I expect to hear some news soon from CUS about how the takeover is moving along. This will be the catalyst to move the stock higher...probably around 1.30..which it will consolidate until the final move to the closing buyout price.

If the merger is moving along as planned, then why has Invesco Canada filed an Alternative Monthly Early Warning Report this week with Sedar where they clearly state that they are dumping their shares? Folks, I believe that things are not moving along well. I firmly believe that Canexus will be seeking CCAA protection before this merger is finalized! Kherson

Nothing is for sure but I don't see it in the charts.  CUS bounced on the acquisition announcement but has been mirroring SPB perfectly since Nov. 16 or so. The bridge financing mollifies CUS debt holders as transaction unfolds. From the circular:   Financing Summary   While the Arrangement is not subject to a financing contingency, as part of the Arrangement ...more

I will suggest that you carefully read over Canexus' 3rd Quarter results and note what Canexus is valuing their equity at! According to my calculations, the BV of a Canexus share is 6 cents! Kherson

Invesco sold 0.62% of their shares since Oct.  They still hold 9.8% of CUS. Sold just enuff to break that 10% threshold.  How that could be construed as dumping you will have to explain to me? Also a AMEW would never state a mindset such as "we are clealy stating we are dumping." That is foolish talk.

You may wish to revisit the Sedar site and educate yourself on the pertinent information on a  AMEW report. The 0.62% that you are referring to is actually 0.62% of the overall float of the shares issued by Canexus, which in this case works out to about 1.126 million. The 1.126 million shares that Invesco sold  is actually 6% of their position in Canexus that Invesco held back in October ...more

And you may wish to stop making yourself into an idiot.  Invesco owned 10.41% of CUS in Oct. They now own 9.8%.  Hence .61% What part of this info is not pertenient?  I know. Why not leave the planet Kherson and rejoin earth?

Why would Invesco keep 94% of their position in Invesco if they were worried?

Why would Invesco sell 6% of their position if they weren't? Kherson
Comment by dudsywow on Feb 06, 2016 11:58pm
There's always any number of reasons shares are sold including fund redemptions, opportunistic alternatives, tax, etc.   But you don't keep 94% of your position if you are truly worried.
Comment by Kherson on Feb 07, 2016 7:41am
You are missing the point dudsywow. Invesco dumped 6% of their position in Canexus just last month, while Canexus has been telling the Market that it's shares will be worth much more in the near future. Something is not adding up here... Kherson

Hey Tobuyornot, Just to give you a little history on this Kherson clown. Every single stock he has bought has gone bankrupt and or has some kind of fraud cloud associated with it. He is probably paid for his posts by short sellers. Have a look at his history, he has bought and pumped PSN AET.UN PLT.UN SLI SGL PWT and even pumped CUS when he bought it at $5.00. Do your own homework and ignore the ...more

Invesco has sold 0.62% of the overall outstanding shares of Canexus, or 6.2% of the shares that Invesco held since October, 2015. Since this report was issued for the end of  January, 2016, it is assumed that the selling was done during the month of January! Explaining the situation in another way, Invesco has sold over 1.1 million shares during the month of January, 2016. Anyway you slice it ...more
