"The due diligence undertaken by Chemtrade"

Exactly when did Chemtrade have access to a Data room at Canexus? The answer is no new information, they based their earlier expression of interest at $1.90 based on the same facts they have today. This is simply an attempt by Davis to COA in the face of almost unanimous non support by CUS big players. I say to Davis, withdraw your offer and let both companies go back to business. The offer is an insult pure and simple.

Actually, the offer is too generous! The book value for Canexus equity is actually less than zero. Keep in mind that Davis clearly points out that Canexus has a number of operational deficiencies and "catch up" costs that they need to pay! I wonder if the lawsuits are also considered part of those costs?

How would you know that? ... Were you at the Canexus office every day? What you have is an opinion and that's perfectly fine ... but don't make it pass as a FACT.

Chemtrades PR yesterday said.................."The Canexus board repeatedly refused to engage constructively with Chemtrade to negotiate a friendly deal"..............That means Davis had NO access to sites, contracts and future expansion plans, in plain words a Data Room was not available to them...... What did Davis's due diligence comprise if they had no access. Drones and ...more

phoenix trader,  perhaps  mr Davis   "borrowed the data from Superior Plus"" I am sure that they had access to the data room...from there take the increase in net earnings and substract the new 110 millions senior notes and add the liabilities to superior of 25 millions...and you have a company that is worth less than what it was last october.... the best  would ...more

True story, except for the part where CHemtrade said they got access to the said room during the stage CUS was actively being shopped around.   Come on, Phoenix......losing creditibility like Mattzaball Mac here.
