National Bank

God bless the National Bank.  I orginally bought CWB in 2013 for $28 and it was one of the worst performing stocks in my account until National Bank got involved.

And yet the discount on CWB continues to widen. Likely more good news coming when CWB reports.  NA/CWB combination is largely insulated to the troubles affecting some of the other Canadian banks.

It makes zero sense to sell CWB when we will end up with NA shares that are a tax free swap.  The only reason to sell would be if you're monkeying around with the 250K capital gains threshold.

Or if you are uncertain about the shareholder vote. Or you set a limit because you bought at $46.

Damn fat fingers. That should say $26
