Stockwatcher wrote What a coincidence.... Both IAU  and  CXB  offer up shelf prospectuses the  same  day  minuits apart? I find these two companies report at just about the same time when sombody sneezes. Coincidence. Combining the two would make one of the largest diversified mining companies. Strange things do happen not coincidence.

I myself hope that CXB DO NOT take a run to IAU : too much to digest of IAU at this moment for CXB , labour in USA too expensive to run a mine in NEVADA , sell GOLD in $US and pay labour in $US = not too much margin of profit compare with MOZ in CANADA , pay labour in $CAN , 30% cheaper . Too much RISK for CXB taking over or merger with IAU , just digest Valentine Mine FIRST , ONE by ONE , at this ...more

Don't think they're related.  Calibre mentioned in the update they're looking to enhance working capital to deal with either project overruns or to action opportunities with respect to the mine build (similar to how they pulled certain phase two items forward into phase 1). The shelf prospectus is exactly that. I'm not a securities lawyer,  but I'm pretty sure any ...more

If anyone are interest in COPPER and SILVER ??? Look into ADZN , one of highest grade El Dome Mine in Ecuador , just BEING TAKEN OVER by SVM which has been silver producer roughly 8 mil OZ per year , low cost producer in China , NO DEBTS with $200 mil CASH  . This is how I want CXB to be in like SVM in the future . DYODD

EDX, your right, I just find it odd that my two best Jr picks hiccup on the same day quite often. Now if IAU can just move up like CXB I'll be very happy. Looks like new highs are in the works for next week.
