The Apollo offer was also all rumor based.

Amco offer was always there but too low and board rejected it..go check Mt second quarter transcripts. No one knew shares would drop down so quickly. Need to confront Mt on this issue during 3rd quarter results confrence call. Black Rock could come in again and take them out for 15$ us. Its all speculation but current share price offers an interesting risk reward scenario..i am buying more

You are confused. The Amco deal was last year and that was real. The Blacktone, Carlyle and Apollo Global interest were always "well placed" rumors by un-named "sources close to the company". Everyone should research this for themselves. It's really not that hard people. Show me any official news that states the confirmation of offers from Apollo Global which you keep

Please focus on the facts. The facts are these failed rumoured buyout suitors were private equity apparently invited to the table by by the consulting investment banking outfit. Greenhill & Co? And to add more relevant facts to this. Jordan Kupinsky, the "Lead Independent Director" at Concordia has some past and possible current relationship with Greenhill.  Interesting? He

Kind of curious how the lead "independent" directors previous employer gets hired for months as a consultant, with shareholder money footing the bill and the solution they come up with is to add more debt to end the strategic review!

This is a tragic case. There appears to be a lot of people playing into these games and many professional pumpers like funftrader fooling people unware of the serious games played. The surge seen on Thusday Oct 20th was pure fabrication with absolutely no news.  So a leak from a "company close to the company" was apparently "out there", not with any public disclosure
