Thoughts?

I know a lot of you on this board think that CXR is going to go bankrupt. What is the probability that the stock will hit $3 before it does go bankrupt?

Agree. I also think that it is 100% probability that CXR will not go bankrupt, at least not any time in the forseeable future.

Meetoo1600, did you see the paragraph below before you made that statement? This is what Concordia said in their Q3 Report: "Future liquidity and operations of the Company are dependent on the ability of the Company to restructure its debt obligations and to generate sufficient operating cash flows to fund its on-going operations. If the Company does not complete ...more

Yes, I saw it.  I saw it even before I bought CXR common stock.  In fact, it is practically the reason why I bought it.  A famous investor once said, "Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful." Everyone should just have a nice sleep tonight.  If they were going CCAA, they would have already. Yeah, yeah, rad10, you do not have to pipe in.  ...more

Yes.  I think someone is confusing Concordia Health Limited with Concordia International Corp.  They are two completely separate companies and one has nothing to do with the other. As far as I am aware, Barchester Grove is not involved with Concordia International Corp., at least not in any sort of parent company role, and it would not make any difference under the current circumstances ...more

Amen to that meetoo. But most of these guys haven't even read the 3Q MD&A that has been in the public domain for several months. What do we know? - They made a proposal in Late October https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/concordia-international-corp-takes-next-step-to-realign-its-capital-structure-by-commencing-proceedings-under-the-canada-business-corporations-act-651854083.html ...more

Yes, rad10.  Just one minor correction, minor but meaningful. They did not make a proposal in late October.  They made a court filing.  There is a difference.  So far we have seen no proposal. I have surmised that they had some level of support for the initiative before they made the filing, which is what experts in the field always advise that a debtor try to achieve.   ...more

first bullet point on that link in parentheses - (the "Proposed Recapitalization Transaction") I must admit I have spoken recently with IR in Oakville and what I am saying is correct..............

rad10 wrote:  "The proposal got rejected and will need modification if CCAA is to be avoided." If Adam told you this, then he has committed a major securities offence.  In fact, he has done so if he said anything other than something to the effect of, "I cannot comment".

Call him yourself instead of pontificating - tired of the intellectual masturbation and reinterpretation of the written word.  It's in the press release. Did they make a proposal to the ad hoc committees following the interest deferral? - of course they did.  This occurred in Late October / Early November. Did that proposal get approved and passed on to the regular investors - no ...more

So let me get this straight, rad10:  Adam Peeler is sitting around, waiting to take your call and mine, even though he knows that he is going to be out of a job imminently because the company is going CCAA.  One thing that private companies do not need is an Investor Relations person, and a private company is what CXR will become immediately upon going CCAA.  If I were him, and you ...more

Epic ridiculous rant !  The complete guff is highlighted in red.  Please Meetoo tell me what other companies you are invested in - I might start increasing my short positions! In CCAA a monitor is appointed - it doesn't go immediately private.  The existing staff are usually retained - the board will be dissolved. Your knowledge base is clearly lacking in so many areas - let ...more

Best decision you have made on this BB recently - "an thoughtful" - wtf
