Showing a gain of 13 cents , which is the same gain for DFN.  DF commons have a value of $6.29 before dist.   and with the last trade @  5.86 according to  stockwatch which has a

increased my position by 50%  this morning and I hope this catches up to NAV before ex div... otherwise, nice div my way! GLTA

So spreadsheet is still showing a  gain of 8 cents the sept 13 update. Last sale was @ $6.82 and not sure why DF is trading lower than DFN, other than some are still in love with that one. I like

So with the last trade @ $5.90 DF commons trade at a discount of 34 cents , which makes them a slightly better deal than DFN..

So a mixed bag on DF today ( and DFN) so no real big gains to speak of. UNIT NAV only up 8 cents today .. but they do own MFC as the biggest holding and it has done real good this week . However LFE

This announcement was music to my ears and I agree,  these prefs are definitely a tasty alternative....#1 weighted holding in SPLT and PREF. Will be interesting to see if there will be positive

This was timely and answered my question from this morning. With safe money market and GIC investment yields crashing, these prefs at 7% make for a tasty alternative.

Showing a gain of 2 cents on the spreadsheet since sept 13 updated number. Discount for DF with the last trade around  5.835 would be  nearly 35 cents.  about  5.6% I would

Spreadsheet quick look showed the UNIT NAV the same as Quadravest number for Sept 13.. so no gain... DFN is the same...no gains since the update.

So this morning kind of shocked to see DFN trading higher than DF... desptie the recent update from Quadravest showing DF unit nav 8 cents higher. Happy to take profits on DFN, and grab DF with the
