DFN unit nav to dec 08 = approx: $15.87

Spreadsheet now has DFN losing about  32 cents , so commons now have a value of $5.87
With the last trade @ 7.63 the premium is $1.76 or about  30%... Quadravest would be crazy not to drop  an offering on shareholders at these levels. This has been DFN strategy all along, do the offering at the highest possible price .premium.. not great for those buying in at a big premium, but great for those who are long from lower levels.

Thank you for all of your posting Mouserman, I often check for your updates, but my first post. In these scenarios where the premium is this high it generally leads to an offering.  If an offering comes out, would that push the stock price lower generally? I suppose I ask because when we see this type of premium is it best to lower your position and then potenitally rebuy after an offering? ...more

Yes , invariably the stock price takes a beating for a while after an offering.  SO yes , if you have an inkling that an offering is coming, best to step to the sidelines or find another highyielding fund that isnt so overvalued.
