DFN unit NAV to Dec 13 = approx; $15.13

So a big jump in nav today, and discount is going to disappear i would think. ALTHO FTN trades at a discount today, and currently has a UNIT NAV that has gained 72 cents since NOV 30 , now @$17.24.
May take a while for the big premiums to assert themselves again.
Current discount on DFN commons would be 30 cents... lots of really good value buys out there right now, if one wants to get in on santa claus rally that is coming.

BK   looks to be a good value, lots of safety and mostly the safer CAD banks. FTN now is a good value, if you like the mix of CAD banks and lifecos along with the biggest 3 holdings  being BIG US banks.... of course LCS is at a 7% DISCOUNT, and has the best capital gains in the past year of those paying split fund commons. I expect the lifecos to continue making better profits than the ...more

Most times, anything on mousermans list would be perfect. Now we have multiple bargains, I want them all.  Now I'm out of money, another word for fully invested.

Thanks MM....appreciate your thoughts....heavy into ffn....dfn....pic.a....tried to pick up a chunk of BK this morning but missed by 6 cents.....lol also own eit.un.....and ens....good solid plays with good divis history.. Will be nice to see dfn paying us monthly divis starting in January. still have money on sidelines and watching the runs on our banks and lifecos. glta.
