DFN unit nav to JAN 24 = approx; $15.15

So holdings backed off end of day, and the value of the commons AFTER distributions would be 15$.
Premium seems a little high considering there is no safety for distributions in the future.

Definitely high when there is no safety! Does not fare well at all comparitively to FTN or even DGS when looking at the price to nav ratio.

Sold a 1/4 of holdings at 5.40, simply due to premium rise.

Typically div stocks reach peak day before record date, you sold 4 trade days to early.

if you Look at the trend line over the last six months, volume days in DFN and FTN have dropped. Ive notived that the day before this "ex-div" isnt always the peak. December was 27th.  Did you mean a day before the "ex-div" date? Who sets the ex Div date anyway?  Is it a rule that it is always a day before the record date.  I ask because I have bought via TD and ...more

They are in the process of changing the length of time for shares to settle. Sometime this year,  ex divvy date wil be the day before the settlement date.
