Quadravest updated DFN to April 15 @ $14.90

As i suspected Quadravest made the 15th the date for all their split funds.
DFN unit nav has lot another 10 cents since the 15th so UNIT NOW sits @ $14.80
Will the markets continue down or get a bounce in the next few weeks???

Hey MM, I don't understand how you are so sure they intend to use the 15th NAVs for their declarations. Isn't it possible they might use today's closing NAV if the NAV miraculously surges to $15.00? I agree that they will almost certainly be forced to use the NAVs as of the 15th since the likelihood of achieving dividend status this week is extremely remote, I would just be hesitant ...more

The prospectus does give some leeway on this declaring that the NAV will be calculated "mid-month but dividends will be "determined by the Board of Directors on the advice of Quadravest " So very loosely defined. They have waited as long as the 21st of a month to declare but that would mean the 22nd since the 21st is Sunday. Waiting to squeak by could also be determined to be ...more

Those poor folks who overpaid for DFN and are still hoping for a distribution for April.. are going to disappointed . Cant say i feel sorry for them.
