DFN unit nav to May 9 realtime= $15.38

So spreadsheet is showing a gain of about 57 cents since April 30th.. and much of that gain is from  MFC  TRI , and RBC ... MFC has contributed over  9.8 cents of the UNIT NAV gain, TRI about 9.2 cents,  and the biggest holding RY about 6.4 Cents. TRP also has had a nice bounce, and contributed over 5cents. TD the big loser in the fund, a loss of over 6 cents .
Last sale @ $5.35 leaves DFN now at a discount, very rare to see, even tho its very small.

Care to guess as to why the sudden discount to NAV?
Comment by flamingogold on May 09, 2024 3:48pm
If I had to guess, it could be due to available funds flowing into better prospects like DF and LFE which both today have had good share price gains to close much of the gap in the discount.

WELL, DFN ended the day with the UNIT NAV @ $15.38 , LFE  UNIT NAV was at $15.31  at days end, and DF  UNIT NAV was @ $15.29 . So yes of course the premium disappears when other split fund  commons with a close valuation have a big discount. Last i looked both DF and LFE finished the day below 5$ share price for the commons.

Got it.  That makes sense. Thanks to both of you for your insight.
