DFN.pr.a Drop on volume

Anyone have any idea what is going on with DFN pref. Been under pressure since the open -- wondering if there has been some retraction leak not saying there is but yrying to figuire out why I shoukdm't buy a block.  GLTA

Hearing something about a block issue @ 10.35 through National Bank no details on size. Trading volume now over 2.6 milloion on all exchanges

Maybe because someone who has owned it 20 years just noticed it pays 5% vs. 8% for FTN and FFN.

did  not  exist    20  years ago .   Yields   7%   at  10  par value   .  NO  NOTHING

This fund began February 25, 2004 and yes that's over 20 years. Go to the documents section on the website. And  my broker says the current div is 5% for preferreds. I am aware it's rising but it's not catching up.

Maybe somebody noticed  that as of dec 2024 this pref now yields a 7% coupon not you

I  passed  on  it   as  yield    6.86%   ---not  enough  and   other  negative   is    paying    .35 over par.
