It all comes down to Management

With Record POG and POS we still have a LOSS on the balance sheet.  The single biggest reason why the big money has left the mining sector is the management RISK.  When you have a mediocre management running a Capital intensive mine with all the risk associated, it doesn't take much to Lose Lots of money.

"The single biggest reason why the big money has left the mining sector is the management RISK."   Now that’s surprising! Description of risk in the mining sector. Ask the investors who lost everything with Victoria Gold how they feel about the situation. Here's one of the risk factors in the mining sector. The rotten management and president of Argonaut Golg who lied to all shareholders and sold the Magino project to Alamos for a ridiculous $325 million.  I could go on, but I'll stop here.

I wanted to demonstrate that many mining companies have incompetent management in this field, which carries a lot of risk. It was you yourself who mentioned that management had nothing to do with mining. I rather think that it is you who have no knowledge of this risky and volatile ...more

"I wanted to demonstrate that many mining companies have incompetent management in this field, which carries a lot of risk."   Which you failed to do.   One anecdotal experience hardly indicts "many companies" as you claim, and yes evaluating the people running the shop is a part of due diligence, isn’t it.   “you yourself who mentioned that management had ...more

" and everyone has the right to express themselves while respecting their opinion,"   Perhaps what you really meant was: “while respecting the opinion of others.”  Which would seem to exclude such personal insults as “I rather think that it is you who have no knowledge of this risky and volatile market.”   I can respect a man for his opinion, but not when he states ...more
