MM, I absolutely agree on your assessment.  Full time CMO that is distinguished in the areas that Spectral has approved and soon to be approved FDA approvals.  Looking at his publications he is connected to Dr Ronco so he is at the top of the sepsis game. This gives us immense credibility - in the US no less.  By implication his coming on board full time gives us validation of all

Kellum can't be a cheap hire. Hopefully some significant revenues are expected to help pay that salary. ;)

If he doesn't start until March 1, when would his options kick in? Hopefully they were priced on the day he signed his contract and not when he starts. I'm getting tired of worrying about the impact of options on the stock price.

Spectral just hired Tom Brady and you two are worried about his signing bonus? You two are insane. Dr. Kellum is one of, if not THE smartest Nephrologist in the entire world! Period.

My gut says that he's more eying the options that he is likely to receive,  than his net take home pay thru ADP. He has positioned himself well over the years. Not a surprise that Uof P, and a few key players,  will play a role in getting this over the finish line. MM
