...a significant reduction in exposure to Burkina Faso 

That country is a mess. In addition to upfront cash, there is a continuing stream from the buyer on future gold sales. 

Now lots of cash to make ( attempt) new acquisitions 

Anyone see this ?

The upfront cash in relation to the production lost on the sale of these 2 mines is somewhat disappointing.   How do you replace those ounces in the short-term? Not the most stable place in the world. The gov't has an ownership stake in these mines. Should be a priority for them to provide top grade security for these assets.
