ENB AND PRICE OF OIL

Enbridge does not buy or own any oil, it only transports, so the price of oil should not effect the price of shipment contracts. if only people knew this, which alot of them don't, and think ENB is tied to the WTI price

Agree that ENB shouldn't rise/decline much with WTI, but it does as Fiddy says. Why, primarily as their contract counterparties (producer companies) become more or less finiancially robust, and more/less agressive in developing more production.
